Throughout The Great Dandy Mural Project, Dandy Dugald started to make a series of short, funny process films to help share the experience to our Dandy followers. During the project the Dandies were invited by previous Dandifest! collaborators The Golden Bee Hive in Australia to contribute a film about bees. Also at that time we had started to learn about a variety of cool, re-wilding projects around Norfolk to encourage pollinators so we decided to make our first Dandy documentary Norfolk ’n Bees. Its world premiere was at the PUNQ festival in Northern Queensland as part of the Golden Bee – Hive Alive! 2021.
Our next film project was funded by Norwich City Council after being approached by Dandelion Snowley to help make a short film for and about the Good Economy Commission, an information gathering and community wellbeing 12 month project to help make Norwich more accessible for minorities living in Norwich.
